Karen Rosenthal has been the owner/President and Broker of Woodlands Realty, Inc, since 1995. Karen designed Woodlands to be a small boutique real estate agency where all of the associates/licensees/brokers would work together as a team – in direct contrast to large agencies where only one realtor is designated to help a client search for or market their property.

Karen earned a Juris Doctor law degree from New York Law School. This background has proven invaluable in understanding real estate law, contracts, necessary disclosures, and in helping in the process of negotiating the best terms possible for Woodlands’ clients.
Karen stands by her clients from the property search through negotiations, inspections, the closing and even improvements following the taking of title. She has been involved in finding suitable properties for investment, renovation and new construction. Working with well seasoned and respected architects and builders she has helped clients design and construct their dream homes. Together they emphasize visual plus architectural interest and affordability while offering a broad design palette.
Karen has always been active in the community. She served on the Board of Directors of Horizon House, a 1,266 unit cooperative on the Palisades in Fort Lee, New Jersey, she is the Founder of the Saddle River Valley Jewish Community Organization, and she has been a member of the Upper Saddle River Planning Board for the last fifteen years.
